Too many to choose. Just last night I learned that a follower knows someone I worked with 20 years ago.

Sure. We've met a lot of great peeps we wouldn't have otherwise. We found a free marketing channel that drives traffic like Google AdWords.
Who knows? We market our biz, we chat w/ tweeple, we joke, we seek feedback, we RT & try to showcase & help others. Not sure that's unique.
Air, water, food, family, friends, God. There's one more but we'll keep to your 6 (and because we strive to remain family-friendly ;-)
We were lulled into a coma-like trance by the media buzz. (Actually, as a small biz, we wanted to experiment with Social Media. Glad we did.)
As in trending topics? We don't pay much attention, generally, but some of the #omgfacts are hilarious.
Shop@DreamWorthyGifts.com comes to mind. :-) Other than that, no. We don't really follow the trends much.

Opinions vary. We don't like drunk tweets, flames, people being unnecessarily mean, crude comments, severe cussing or overtly sexual tweets.
