I don't shorten 'you' or 'your' - - don't know why, I have just always disliked that whole 'u' and 'ur' abbreviation!
Yes. Who and why isn't important - I just think it makes sense to follow people who matter to you, for whatever reason.

Share interesting information to your followers - don't just make it about you all the time. Mix it up and have fun!
