There's no one individual I especially admire. The Obama campaign's use of Twitter was brilliant and @stephenfry has been very entertaining.
It's better to be a smart-ass than a dumb-ass.
I have unfollowed individuals when cleaning up my follow list and they have not been active at all in six months or more.

No - but I've lost followers after a busy bevy of tweets on a specific topic. Not necessarily a major concern for me.
Hmmm...not much. I like the mix of sharing fun, knowledge, resources, entertainment and the mundane.
I've made a number of great connections with artists, designers, writers, photographers and others that have evolved into the real world.
I use Twitter to direct traffic to my blogs, articles, books, public appearances and share design accomplishments/info of others.
Being home-based and self-employed, I'm inspired to connect with the somewhat real world through Twitter.

Giving "props" to industry peers, directing followers to valuable resources and an occasional "Twoot! Twoot!" make my tweets stand out.
Twitter has changed my career quite a bit. I now sometimes teach others about social networking and have greater exposure around the world.

I survived ten days in the wilderness, on a gold-mining trip, without a tweet. I don't know that I could last much longer.
I tend to use #stupid #silly and #justsaying quite a bit. I've used some ridiculously long ones on occasion - but don't remember them.
I will usually edit words from tweets before shortening for brevity with abbreviations - that's the writer in me.
On a couple occasions I have mistakenly publicly tweeted what should have been very private direct message responses.
