That because tweets are short you can benefit from Twitter even if you have nothing to say.
Usually it is in reaction to other tweets -- I retweet a lot -- or to push a blog post.
I don't give this a lot of thought.
I am not sure that they should. But if they are interested in copyright or trademark law or balding, nearsighted middle-aged Jewish intellectual-type lawyers they will probably find the investment worthwhile.

I don't do enough research to determine what is "one of a kind" beyond the fact that, of course, almost all are one of a kind. What is the deviation from the mean your question implies, anyway?
