Yes. Initially on Twitter, I would follow back anyone. I have become more selective. I may also unfollow someone who has unfollowed me.
Although it may not technically be a twitter app, I use bitly a lot. Klout and Twitter Analyzer are interesting
If you want an audience, think about what they would look like and tweet accordingly. Select who you follow based upon what they tweet
There is a considerable support community on Twitter, but it can always be bigger
I have connected with some guys suffering from exactly the same type of tumor I have - its been a real blessing.
