I wish people would use Twitter more for professional and business purposes. Not to tell people how you are feeling that day, or what you ate for lunch, etc
Yes, Twitter is changing my life because there are a lot of people that I am connecting with that I never knew about. Especially, Authors in the same genre as I am
I wanted to get myself out there as an Author of Supernatural Thrillers. Twitter is a wonderful social media tool if used properly I think
I have lived a lot of things in the supernatural thrillers that I write about, believe it or not. And, there are things I have learned about this business that I never knew before. I would like to share them, because no one ever told me about a lot of things that are available to Authors out here now. I know a lot of things now that I never knew before
I have discussed my blog which I want people to see because there are excerpts there from my novels. I believe fans should have a taste of what you are asking them to buy first. As far as trends I try to see just who is following who and why
You asked me this before. I would have to give the same answer again, and that is Tyler Perry
@jennygoehl - would be a great one to follow. As Jenny's website jennifercan'tputitdown is a place to look for great book that are also on www.goodreads.com Jenny is a wonderful book reviewer, and believe me, if your book is any good she is the one who will let you know.
For myself I find Twitter very useful in finding other Authors of Supernatural Thrillers like myself. However, I cannot name any lists at this time since I am new to this stage.
Usually in the late afternoon or evenings. Sometimes late at night, but that is not very often.
I tweet about my website: http://misscheyennemitchell.webs.com Also, my blog at www.misscheyennemitchell.blogspot.com And, www.goodreads.com where there are many great novels of all genres. Also, I try to tweet something that will help other Authors, especially those who are new to this business.
The thing that I am known for on Twitter is that my name is Miss Cheyenne Mitchell, and I am destined to be one of the greatest Authors of Supernatural Thrillers in this world through my novels "SYROIA" and "THE COVERING. And that nothing and no one in life should ever be taken for granted.
I believe one of the biggest misconceptions of Twitter is that it's used for personal things, such as "I'm feeling down today", which is nothing near business, or promotional-like. And, I don't think people really care about that kind of stuff. Twitter is more of a business tool for professionals and celebrities I believe.
I like to tweet what would be informative to fans of my work as an Author of Supernatural Thrillers. There is only so much you can put on a Tweet, but I try to say as much as I can about my novels that would interest those readers who love that genre. Also, I would like to help would-be Writers in any genre if I can.
I expect Twitter to keep growing and attracting more professional people. As we all know there are a lot of nonsensical things that people tweet on Twitter. But it is a good place for celebrities, and I think more celebrities will begin to use Twitter, because those are the tweets that will be responded to as well as attract followers.
I have lived through a lot of the things that I write about in my Supernatural thrillers. There have been a lot of murders in my family as well as a lot of secrecy. Which is what "SYROIA" and "THE COVERING" are truly about, family love and secrecy. There are things that I could tell my fans that they wouldn't believe. But they are all true. As with, Celia, the protagonist in "THE COVERING" a lot of spooky and eerie things happened to me when I was seventeen. I should be on Celebrity Ghost Stories.
The main topic that I have discussed on Twitter is about my new, two, Supernatural Thrillers being released right now. "SYROIA" & "THE COVERING". Both are destined for the big screen I believe.

I do find the Twitter lists very useful for Authors/Novelists of Supernatural Thrillers. Because you can find other Authors in your particular genre easily as well as quickly. For example, if you are a Writer of Romance novels you wouldn't want to tweet an Author of Supernatural thrillers. You want to find other Authors in your genre. Twitter lists are extremely helpful here.
