GuyKawasaki is one of my favorite models for a successful use of Twitter.
What are some words or phrases you refuse to shorten for brevity?
I never shorten anything for brevity. Doing so is a big pet peeve of mine.
What's your best tweet?
My best tweets are the ones where I publish some new data about social media behavior.
How long can you go without a tweet?
For a pretty long time mostly, but when I'm getting bad customer service? About 3 seconds.
What's your favorite Twitter app?
TweetDeck. Or my collection of hand written tools I use to analyze Twitter.
Have you ever unfollowed someone? Who and why?
I have, plenty of times. Tweeting lots of meaningless quotes is one good way to get unfollowed.

Experiment, innovate, challenge common wisdom and keep evolving.

Challenge accepted wisdom.
What's the most interesting connection you've made through Twitter?
I've made so many that its hard to single one out really, but the best ones are the ones that include a real-world interaction.
What was the funniest trend you've seen?
The ones that I find most amusing are the expletive laden ones.
Ever get called out for tweeting too much?
No, well, not by my followers. By my fiance at dinner, which is a different story.

Everytime I find myself thinking that about someone, I find out they do have one.

I do me. I tweet about social media from a unique, data and science oriented perspective that is sorely lacking in the niche at large.

Yes, it has given me the best dataset to study human behavior in history.
