Twitter to find the people, a blog(website) for them to go to. I am not personally a fan of forums. I think forums do have there place though
Twitter, FB, Plurk, Linkedin,Bebo, Mebo, Pandora, Flickr..my gosh.. you name it, I would like to think I have a presence on it!

Use twitter.search.com and use keywords to find people who are interested in the same thing as you!
By commenting on what people do. Sharing interesting things. Updating with more then..im eating a carrot :)

I dont have people tweet for me. I also gather my info from all kinds of sources just not a certain few.
