Listorious Interview
People generally know me from my background as an entertainer and writer and more recently, for my social media know-how and my fun-loving approach to Tweeting!
I seek out new and interesting articles, features, photos, videos and music that I feel add real value to my stream. I basically curate my web content to create a daily Twitter Show that my followers genuinely seem to love! It's a formula that works for me!
I suspect that Twitter will go from strength to strength in terms of improving the user experience and making it easier to integrate and view the information that followers wish to share.
I think of my Twitter stream as my daily 'show'. To me, it's extremely important to provide all of my followers with an entertaining flow of tweets that add value, laughter and inspiration to their day.
I tweeted a lot about the Japan tragedy and the various charities that were offering aid and support.
I tweet daily about social media, providing as many useful tips and tricks as I can for both new and established followers.
I also tweet about self-improvement, offering links to great articles and features on motivation, marketing, and all things inspirational!
And of course there's the animals! I am a huge supporter of animal rights and regularly tweet out links and articles as to how we can all help to make a difference.
For daily laughter I can highly recommend:
@webbyand - great one liners!
@TheKeithChegwin - UK humor & fun links!
@grattonboy - he's genius!
I follow many amazing people on twitter. If I had to mention 2 that really stand out to me on a daily basis it would be:
@lorimcneeartist as she continually inspires me with her talent and the sheer usefulness of her tweets.
AND
My hubby, @grattonboy, who is a unique tweeter having a great blend of humor, news and all things retweetable! He's a must-follow!
Twitter lists are incredibly useful in that they can help you to build a targeted tribe on Twitter to engage with and learn from. There are too many great ones to mention so I would suggest you type in some areas of interest and see what appeals to you individually.
