It was difficult, but I went away for about 10 days recently. My husband who has had a bone marrow transplant was ill and I couldn't tweet.
Yes. Spammers. They tweeted the same tweet EVERY line, such as -- use this product to get your teeth white. I also unfollow those who curse.
Twitpic -- It allows you to show a lot about yourself -- after all a picture is worth a thousand words!
Take things slowly & learn how Twitter works. Don't add people too quickly, build relationships first. Be helpful. Then make lots of friends!
I have diverse interests, so I'm not particular. However, I wish people would introduce themselves, and get to know one another more.
Hashtag memes, with strings of words following the hashtag in which tweeters are to answer. Example: #ifear My answer: #ifear ugly sheep
Jane Austen, Abraham Lincoln and Jesus, but since they're not alive on this earth, I'd prefer my brother, sisters, mom, and husband's sister.
@EWTN Because, as it calls itself, it's a "great global Catholic Network." The TV station is great with a variety of interesting programs.

Perhaps some plugins to the sidebar of the Twitter page. Maybe with the ability to add HTML code. Perhaps an easy way to add links (URLs),
This is a hard one because there are so many who use Twitter well -- but I am going to have to say @problogger (Darren Rowse).
