Listorious Interview
Should be able to search and categorise old DMs. Should also be able to arrange tweetups straight from Twitter, and post pics in tweet stream
#WordNerdArmy
#KickCancer - for my friend @BubblyBex - she's in the 'health' category. Would be good if #peace would top trend, internationally, for a day.
@stephenfry because he is so generous with his time and kind to his followers. He tolerates a lot of BS too without dishing it out. Top chap.
Give more than you take. Listen more than you speak. Retweet often but use your voice too. Block meanies. Follow people you find interesting.
You'd have to ask my followers. The 6 word story 'Miss Haversham was gay, he discovered' won a contest though so it might be in the running.
Almost too obvious to say, but... antidisestablishmentarianism
Often. At that point I describe it as 'research' - you can't get cross at someone for working hard.
Twitter is my digital campfire. It's where I share stories with the people who will be my readers when I am published.
My followers are perfect just as they are. :)
Life, literature, funny things. Word Nerds in general and the Word Nerd Army in particular.
All my life until last year.
Bullies and obsessives. I'm so fond of the 'block' function that the baddies in my nightmares now come with a big 'block' button.
The Word Nerd Army of course!
Tweetchat's handy. I use it to follow literary hashtags like #LitChat - they become like little word nerd chat rooms.
When I discovered Twitter, I was too ill to leave the house. It was like the door suddenly opened and I could escape.
You'd have to ask my followers that question but I imagine writing haiku or 6 word stories or other timed 'literary stand-up' is unique.
Maggie Simpson. I like the idea she would tweet before she could talk.
Many years ago, I almost shared pizza with Stephen Fry and I wanted to chat with him again. Also, I wanted to build an 'author platform.'
#poultryfilms is pretty funny. I thought Bantam of the Opera might be a good title or maybe Goosebusters.
Which of your competitors deserves to win this more than you?
The Queen; especially if she DM'd me what she REALLY thinks of the speech they make her put her name to at the State Opening of Parliament.
Love, oxygen, solitude, company, words, water
Asking people to follow you; being nasty if they don't; cyber-bullying; underestimating the Word Nerd Army; taking Stephen Fry's name in vain
