Sesame Workshop – the nonprofit behind Sesame Street and a whole lot more – is dedicated toward making a meaningful difference in the lives of children worldwide by addressing their critical developmental needs. We strive to give children a better life than they would have had otherwise.

We have a lot of great ones, so it’s hard to say, but by far our most important one to date was http://twitter.com/sesamestreet/status/8080830145, saying simply “Helping Children Understand Natural Disasters http://bit.ly/8OhZWS”. That link takes us to a post on our Facebook Page which gives parents of children ages zero to six some tips and advice on how to address the images these children are certainly seeing because of the disaster in Haiti.
Longer than Cookie Monster can go without devouring that cookie next to him, for sure, but not much!
